I gave this book a five star rating. It was very well written. A good story line. Sometimes I had a hard time keeping the characters separated. Enjoyed the book recommend this book to everyone.
I'm not into m/m books at all... but its Luke!!! For a person into this kind of book, I was expecting to scan through the book, but surprised I didn't have to... the sex scenes weren't bad (and I'm definitely bias) and the story line was not at all predictable. I love this crew!
Luke and Stuart's story. FINALLY. The caregiver to everyone in the family finally has his own story. To see how this develops was amazing and made my heart smile. Granted I had a moment I shed a tear but otherwise smile and laugh too.
Note This is a M/M relationship. There are also adult situations so intended for readers 18+.
I have loved every book in this series but I think this may be my favorite so far. The love between Luke and Stuart is palpable. The support of everyone in this family of friends is so touching. Each character brings something different to this "family" that makes them more family than their own biological ever could.
Luke always puts everyone before himself. Stuart is the one person able to make him change that.
Xavier Neal has done it again! She has such a way of pulling you into her books and making you part of her characters lives. This book is a M/M romance, my first, and I can't tell you how much I loved it. It makes me want to be a gay man trapped in a woman's body so I could have a 3some with Stuart and Luke. This story lets us know that no matter what we're up against in our journey to true love, one day, when we least expect it, we will find it
Xavier Neal is a ROCKSTAR!! This was my first m/m book but I knew I had to give it a go as it was Luke and Stuart. I've loved Luke since he first appeared it Blind. The relationship between him and Stuart is rocky and has to be a secret which makes it even hotter. Another reason to love Luke is even if you aren't blood you are FAMILY and That is amazing to see with this standalone. I love that you can still catch up with all of the characters from the Senses Series and how they are doing. I can't say anymore or I might spoil this book but I CAN SAY BUY THIS BOOK!!! 10 Stars!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is the eighth book in this series and once again Xavier Neal has knocked it out of the park. This book was dedicated to Luke and Stuart's story. Of course all the rest of the "family" is also mentioned and active throughout this book but it features Luke and Stuart who have been circling each other for quite some time. Both have feelings for each other but act just like Logan and Maxx did. Afraid to actually act on those feeling. Afraid of getting their hearts broken. It amazes me that after 8 books, all featuring the same group of people, and each book is informative, dramatic, intriguing and heartfelt. Ms. Neal never fails to bring out all the best in her characters and adds just what each book needs to the story-line to keep her readers glued to the book until the final page is turned! I am just as excited to start the ninth book, Mollify, as I was to start the second book in the series. That right there is the sign of an award-winning, best-selling author! Ms. Neal, thank you for sharing your amazing gift with us. I can't wait to read Mollify and to also delve into your other series Havoc or any of you other work.
